Hi Viv,

My step-dad and mum have both had treatment over there for skin cancer problems. Nothing on the scale of your treatment, of course, but they’re very happy with the way they were treated by the Portugese specialists.

I know you’ll have the best team fighting your corner for you, and as dumb as it sounds, if you do need anything in the UK that I can get for you, please let me know. You were one of a handful of people to stick by me when the Galaxy shit hit the fan, and I’m not likely to forget your help and friendship in a hurry.

We meet a lot of people in life, Viv, but I can’t think of many I’d go out of my way to rescue on the M25 at 3am in the pissing rain. You’re one of the few.
